Terms
Last updated: April 13, 2026. These Terms are the contract between us when you browse the site or book a tour. We've kept them readable - and we promise we're on your side when it counts.
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of wfoodies.com and any tour you book through us. By using the site or completing a booking, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service is operated by RocketTour Media Ltd. ("WOW Foodies," "we," "us"). You are "you" or "the customer."
Who can book
You must be at least 18 years old to create a booking. Anyone under 18 must travel with a responsible adult who holds the booking. Some tours have additional age requirements - for example, tours that include alcohol are limited to legal drinking age in the country of the tour.
Bookings & pricing
Prices shown on the site are per person in USD unless otherwise stated, and include applicable local taxes and the cost of the food and drinks described on the tour page. Tips for your guide are not included and are appreciated but never expected.
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference beginning with WF-. Until then, no contract exists between us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if there's reason to believe it's fraudulent, if the tour is fully booked, or if we've made an obvious pricing error. In any of those cases, we refund you in full immediately.
Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking, via our payment processor (Stripe). By submitting payment, you authorize the charge and confirm that the payment method belongs to you or that you have explicit permission to use it.
Currency conversion fees, if any, are between you and your bank.
Changes & cancellations
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling rules are in our Cancellation Policy. It's part of these Terms - please read it.
Conduct on tour
Your guide runs the tour. Please follow their reasonable instructions, especially those related to safety, timing, and respectful behavior toward vendors and other guests.
We may remove from the tour, without refund, anyone who is disruptive, harassing, significantly intoxicated, or whose behavior puts the group or vendors at risk. This is at the guide's sole discretion.
Health, allergies & personal responsibility
You are responsible for disclosing any allergy, medical condition, or dietary restriction at the time of booking. We rely on that information to plan your tour and brief our partners. We cannot be responsible for reactions to ingredients not disclosed to us in advance.
You participate in tours at your own risk. While we take reasonable precautions (see our Safety page), food tours involve walking, eating in public settings, and environments we don't control. If you have a condition that might affect your participation, please consult your doctor and your travel insurance before booking.
Photography & media
We sometimes take photos or video on tours for marketing. If you'd rather not appear, tell your guide at the start - they'll make sure you're out of frame. You own the rights to photos you take and share; tagging @wowfoodies grants us permission to re-share with credit on our social channels.
Intellectual property
All content on wfoodies.com - text, images, branding, tour itineraries, maps, and editorial design - is owned by WOW Foodies or licensed to us. You may view and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, or republish our content, or use it to train machine learning models, without prior written permission.
Third-party services
During the tour, you'll eat and drink at independent restaurants, markets, and food stalls. Their premises, policies, and services are their own. We pick them carefully, but we're not responsible for issues that arise solely from a partner's operation.
The site links to third-party services (payment processors, map providers, social platforms). We're not responsible for the content or practices of those services.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to a tour or the site is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses - missed flights, lost luggage, accommodation costs after a delay - or for events outside our reasonable control (strikes, extreme weather, civil unrest, pandemics, acts of state).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. You and we agree to try to resolve any dispute amicably first - email hello@wfoodies.com and we'll do our best to sort it out.
If that fails, the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence grant you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you make a booking is the one that applies to that booking. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where relevant, emailed to customers with active bookings.
