Last updated: April 13, 2026. We wrote this page in the same voice we use everywhere else, because hiding the rules behind legalese is how you lose trust. If anything's unclear, ask us.
Who we are
WOW Foodies is operated by RocketTour Media Ltd., registered in Israel. When we say "we" or "us" on this page, that's who we mean. When we say "you," we mean any person who visits wfoodies.com or books a tour with us.

What we collect
When you browse the site, we collect: your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referrer, and rough location (country and city level) via cookies and standard server logs.
When you book a tour, we collect: your full name, email, phone number, payment details (processed by our payment provider - we never see your full card number), dietary restrictions, allergies, and the name and contact for anyone else on your booking.
When you message us on WhatsApp or email, we keep the message thread so we can help you and improve our service.
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect: your email. That's it.
Why we use it
To deliver the tour you booked - meeting-point texts, reminders, dietary briefings to your guide, safety info.
To process payments and prevent fraud.
To reply to your questions and handle support.
To improve the site and the tours: which pages work, which don't, which routes get the best reviews.
To send the newsletter, if you opted in. You can unsubscribe from every email with one click.
To comply with legal obligations like tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping.
Legal basis (GDPR)
If you're in the EU, UK, or another region with equivalent laws, we rely on these legal bases: contract (to deliver the tour you booked), legitimate interest (to run and improve the business, in a way that respects your rights), consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for tax and regulatory records).
How long we keep it
Booking records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
Support conversations: 3 years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe, then 30 days in a suppression list so we don't accidentally email you again.
Analytics data: 14 months, then aggregated or deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have on you, correct it, delete it, export it to another service, or restrict how we use it. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Email privacy@wfoodies.com with your request. We reply within 30 days. If we need longer, we'll tell you why.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle a request, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Where your data lives
Our primary servers are in the EU. Some providers (e.g., Google Analytics) may process data in the United States. When data moves outside the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR.
Children
Our site and tours aren't designed for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll email anyone with an active booking or newsletter subscription and post a notice on the site for 30 days. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
