Cancellation Policy
Last updated: April 13, 2026. These rules apply to every food tour you book through WOW Foodies. If anything's unclear, hit reply on your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp - real humans on the other end.
The short version
Plans change - we get it. Cancel at least 48 hours before your tour start time for a full refund, no questions asked. Cancel inside the 48-hour window and the tour is non-refundable, because our guides, chefs, and market partners have already bought the ingredients and reserved your seat at the table.

Full refund window
You can cancel any confirmed booking up to 48 hours (that's 2,880 minutes, if you're counting) before the tour's local start time. Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically land within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Cancellations made inside the 48-hour window are non-refundable. If you booked less than 48 hours out, your booking is non-refundable from the moment of purchase - but you can still transfer it (see below).
Rescheduling
You can reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour's local start time, subject to availability on your new preferred date. Just reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp.
Rescheduling is limited to one change per booking. A second change will be treated as a cancellation under the rules above.
Transferring your spot
Can't make it but have a hungry friend? You can transfer your booking to someone else at any time, even the day of, at no extra cost. Just send us their full name and email so we can update the manifest and dietary notes.
No-shows & late arrivals
If you don't show up at the stated meeting point within 15 minutes of the tour start, the group will leave without you and the booking is forfeit. Our guides carry a live roster and a working phone - if you're running late, call the number on your confirmation and we'll do our best to hold the group or arrange a catch-up point.
Tours cancelled by WOW Foodies
Occasionally we have to cancel a tour - a guide falls ill, a market closes unexpectedly, a city-wide strike shuts down the neighborhood. If that happens, you'll get notified as early as possible with two options: reschedule to any available date within 12 months, or receive a full refund to your original payment method. Either way, you're covered.
Weather
Our tours run rain or shine. Europe's best food stories don't stop for drizzle, and many of our stops are indoors. We only cancel for weather when the local authorities issue a safety warning or when a specific outdoor stop becomes unsafe. In that case, you'll be offered a reschedule or refund.
How to cancel or change
Reply to your booking confirmation email, or message us on WhatsApp at the number in your confirmation. Include your booking reference (it starts with WF-). We'll confirm the change within 24 hours, usually much faster.
